This Ever After inspired Italian Renaissance Gown (roughly 1400 to 1500) is made from poly-cotton textured fabric and polyester 'silk essence' faux underdress.

It's actually all in one piece, but gives the appearance of being an overdress with a chemise and front lacings. The lacings too, while practical, are just for show, and isn't at all what holds the dress together. Cleverly hidden hooks, eyes and snaps securely hold the dress in place in order to avoid any unwanted disrobing.

The dress also features optional wrist gauntlets with ties, metal buttons and trim.
